Our Fee Status Request Process:

Step 1:   Use our new self-help website to see if Annual Stormwater Fees are due.   This site provides immediate response to approximately 90% of requests.  Click this link:

Step 2:  If there is no fee due, the process is complete.   If there is a fee due at SEMSWA, please complete our form below.   We strive to respond within 24 business hours.

Additional Information 

Residential and Commercial properties in Arapahoe County:  current year SEMSWA fees are on the Arapahoe County Property Tax Statement as Special Assessments.  Please contact SEMSWA for delinquent fee amounts (prior year is at SEMSWA to collect, 2 year and previous fees are at Arapahoe County to collect).

NOTICE:  2022 Delinquent Fees (unpaid) have been recertified to Arapahoe County and will appear on the 2023 Tax Statement delivered in 2024.   

2023 DQ fees are at SEMSWA for collection until 10/31/2024.   Invoices will be sent to property owners in November 2024 with Notice liens will be filed in 2023 on properties with unpaid fees.

Non-Profits, Tax Exempt, and Douglas County property owners – fees are directly billed on a SEMSWA invoice.

ANNOUNCEMENT:  Effective 1/1/2023, SEMSWA has revised its invoicing system for direct billed (tax exempt and Douglas County property owners).  Please contact us for details.
